Profile: Dr. Avnish Gupta is a highly qualified eye surgeon with subspecialisation in Vitreo-Retina. He is an experienced cataract surgeon having done more than two thousand surgeries and is an expert at phacoemulsification. He is also a skilled Retina specialist with expertise in surgeries for disease of retina and vitreous especially diabetic eye diseases and retinal detachments.

Dr. Avnish Gupta did his MBBS from All India Institute for Medical Sciences (AIIMS) New Delhi, followed by post graduation from the prestigious Dr R.P. Centre for Opthalmic Sciences, AIIMS. Afterwards he served as Registrar in Vitreoretinal and Trauma services at Dr R.P Centre for three years before joining Mirchia Laser Eye centre as Retina specialist.
He is also a Fellow of Royal College of Surgeons, Glasgow U.K.
