Pediatric surgery is a branch which deals with conditions in children requiring surgery. It requires infrastructure which can deal with sick children. With excellent pediatric back up, even highly complicated surgeries are done here. The scope of pediatric surgery include :

3. Pediatric Urology
4. Pediatric Tumor Surgery
5. Pediatric Laparoscopic surgery

Pediatric and neonatal surgery is especially difficult because of two main reasons:

• The size of the patient is so small that only a highly trained pediatric surgeons and anasthesiologists can dare to take on the challenge of surgery.
• Post surgical care is critical to saving the baby and this requires a very well equipped intensive care unit with a team experienced to handle such cases.

We are happy to report that this is available at the hospital.
